About Me
Hi, I’m Patience — and flowers are my love language.

What began nearly 30 years ago as a spontaneous leap of faith — buying a small flower shop on a whim — blossomed into a lifelong love affair with blooms, creativity, and human connection. I quickly discovered that being a florist was far more than arranging pretty flowers; it was an art form, a craft, and a way to touch people’s lives in their most meaningful moments.
Driven by curiosity and a deep desire to learn, I immersed myself in the floral world — taking classes across the country, volunteering at industry events, soaking up every bit of knowledge I could find. Within a few short years, I became state certified, served as president of my state floral association, and built a business that my community came to know and love.
Ten years later, I earned my international credentials, becoming both an AIFD (American Institute of Floral Designers) and PFCI (Professional Floral Communicators International) certified designer. My work took me across the U.S. and abroad — teaching in Mexico, Belgium, and Amsterdam, designing for the White House, and leading large-scale event teams (including one unforgettable wedding with a floral budget of $660K — yes, really!).
After nearly 27 years of owning my shop, I felt called to step into a new chapter. I explored product development for global flower farms and national brands, creating recipes and designs that reached homes across the country. But in time, my heart led me back to where it all began — creating from a place of love, intuition, and artistry.
And so, Patience Ann Designs was born.
Working from my home atelier allows me the freedom to design without limits — to pour my full attention, experience, and passion into every creation. I now take on a limited number of daily orders and weddings each year, so each piece can be truly one-of-a-kind. Whether it’s a petite arrangement, a grand wedding, or a meaningful farewell tribute, every design is crafted with intention, care, and a touch of garden magic.
Thank you for being here — I’m so glad you found me. I can’t wait to create something beautiful together.
Patience
